The Team
The Quality Compliance team at Craigavon is part of a global quality team working to ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and product quality in an efficient and effective manner. The team consists of Quality Compliance and Quality Validation teams, with team members involved in all aspects of GMP operations across the site, performing quality inspections to verify GMP activities and in a supportive/advisory role both in the manufacturing and analytical laboratories.
As part of the team, you will be involved in the design, development and delivery of Quality Management Systems that efficiently support the supply of safe quality materials and data to our customers. This is achieved by use of risk-based decision making and exploiting GXP compliant eSolutions where appropriate.
Specific examples of activities within the department include, but are not limited to; support manufacturing and analytical projects to ensure patients receive high quality, safe and effective drugs; working within a project team on a wide range of capital projects, from purchase of a new piece of equipment or development of an IT system to construction of a new facility.
As a contract organisation Quality is at the heart of our relationship with customers, therefore involvement in customer communications, visits and site audits may also form part of the role. The range of activities within Quality Assurance is wide and diverse.
The Role
Quality Compliance Officers participate in and promote Quality Compliance activities and GMP improvement initiatives throughout Almac Sciences. Analytical Services provides support to analytical services projects and analytical operations including review of quality related documents.

Candidate Criteria
Minimum Requirements;
- Degree level (or equivalent) qualification in a Life Science related discipline
- Experience working in a quality or laboratory environment operating to GMP principles or recognised quality system (e.g. ISO)
