Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee all aspects of our human resources operations for our small services company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management and be knowledgeable in all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with local and national laws and regulations
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including creating job descriptions, posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs
  • Develop and manage employee compensation and benefits programs
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers on performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all HR-related documentation requirements
  • Develop and implement employee engagement and retention programs
  • Identify training and development needs and develop training programs for employees and managers
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Manage employee relations, including investigating and resolving employee complaints and grievances

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a small services company
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, and compliance
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
