The Royal Clifton Hotel boasts 120 Bedrooms, an on-site Bar & Restaurant as well as suitable Conference & Events Facilities and we are looking to recruit a Sales and Marketing Manager on to the team.
Sales & Marketing Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clear understanding of the hotels business strategies then set goals and to determine action plans to meet those goals.
- Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales.
- Represent Hotel in various events and exhibitions.
- Conducts proactive sales calls and arrange site inspection trips to the hotel by clients.
- Able to provide Quick and timely responses to enquiries and develop professional long-term business relationships.
- Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g. writing contracts, customer correspondence).
- Able to support the hotels service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
- Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
Prerequisites:
- Proven success in a similar role and environment.
- Experience of developing and managing strong relationships with clients within the conference and banqueting sector.
- Strong attention to detail.
The successful candidate will have similar experience in a 100+ bedroom hotel or 1 years’ experience as Reception Manager. You must be hard working and able to communicate with both staff and guests.
