Job description
People are key to everything we achieve at English Heritage - whether they are salaried staff or volunteers. Our dedicated and creative people help transform our visitor experience, curate the collection in our care and deliver our strategic plan. But managing a people resource is not always easy, and the role of the HR and Volunteering team is to support line management with attracting, selecting, rewarding, managing and listening to the very best staff and volunteers we can find.
This role supports the HR Projects team to lead on the delivery of people projects which are instrumental in the delivery of the People Plan - making work and the working environment better for our employees and volunteers. The role can either be based at one of our offices in York, Swindon, Bristol or London, or can be home based. There will be the requirement to travel to our offices around the country from time to time for meetings.
We would be happy to support any applicant who wishes to undertake a Level 3 HR Apprenticeship, although this is not a requirement of the role. The successful candidate will have the ability to turn their hand to most project based activities, some of which are system based, others policy related, and to assist the wider HR and Volunteering Team as required.
We would be delighted to hear from you, if you would like to talk to us about this role before you apply, please contact Susan Bayley HR Projects Manager, at [email protected]
