About Directorate

We are excited to be launching an organisational programme to change our Finance, HR and Programme systems putting our users at the heart of the delivery. The programme fully launched in November 2022 and will deliver the programme in phases between March 2024- August 2024.

About the role

To help deliver the implementation of the Councils new Finance, Procurement and HR system.

You will use your specialist HR and Oracle System knowledge to act as the HR Technical Lead for the implementation of the new ERP system. Reporting to the HR Project Manager, you will act as a technical expert for The Oracle System in an HR context.

Using your advanced knowledge of HR processes and systems, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation and the wider programme team to achieve change and the objectives of the programme.

About you

  • Strong understanding of the whole HR business processes ideally within a local government context inclusive of how partial outsourced elements can work effectively.
  • Experience in working on large scale systems implementations
  • Strong understanding of project management
  • Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers and all levels
