Job description
We are currently looking for an experienced HR generalist with a passion for HR Administration and process improvement (automation), as well as supporting with ad hoc project planning and delivery. Reporting into the Senior HRBP and supporting the wider HR Team, you will be part of a small but busy team, who are striving to make continual improvements to ensure the best experience for applicants, new recruits and current employees alike.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide HR advice and guidance to the business regarding all HR queries, including support on sickness absence, disciplinary, grievance, maternity and paternity and recruitment.
· Coach, support and mentor managers in the application of HR policies and practices to meet current and future business needs.
· Support all aspects of employee relations e.g. disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, performance, managing attendance.
· Support end-to-end On-Boarding process, working closely with the Talent Acquisition Partner with offers, vetting and first day activities
· Support with the New Starter Inductions, and other events on the HR calendar
· Support with HR Administration, including some payroll auditing activities
· Support with the delivery of new and on-going projects, with the aim to make improvements to the way we grow and develop our teams, and the way we work together between departments.
· Support other HR activities as required and carry out other duties that may be required from time to time.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR Officer or Advisor who has previously provided operational support in a high volume and fast-paced environment, and has a strong working knowledge of excel. You will have good working knowledge of employee relation matters.
Essential Skills:
· Up to date knowledge of UK employment legislation and latest HR initiatives ensuring best practice.
· Degree educated - ideally in HR or working towards CIPD
· Strong excel skills, and experience in preparing high-detail HR reporting
· HR generalist, training & recruitment experience
· Able to work in a changing environment at fast pace
· Demonstrable track record of successful delivery of HR projects/change
· Passionate about HR
· Proactive problem solver
· Can-do attitude
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
