Social Care and Society, at the University of Manchester has active research projects funded by a number of different organisations.
The active research projects are at different stages of completion and require research assistants with either qualitative, quantitative or mixed methods research.
The post holder/s will provide assistance to one or more research projects in ways which are commensurate with their skills and experience. Training will be provided, where that is necessary, to undertake specific tasks. The work is likely to involve the conduct of interviews, assisting with data entry, data entry, and data cleaning. Assisting with the analysis of data and contributing to writing papers for peer reviewed publications will be part of the role. The post holder will be line managed the Social Care and Society Director, Professor Catherine Robinson or one of the SCS Principal Investigators.
The successful applicant will be based in the Social Care and Society research group in the Division of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work within the School of Health Sciences.
