Position Overview:
As a Graphic Designer at Provision Sportswear, you will be responsible for creating compelling and visually appealing designs for teamwear based on minimal input from the customer. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with teamwear retailers to develop and revise designs based on their feedback and requirements.
- Creating custom graphics, logos, and artwork for sports uniforms, jerseys, and other apparel items.
- Using industry-standard design software to bring concepts to life and ensure accurate and high-quality designs.
- Managing multiple design projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
- Keeping up-to-date with current design trends and techniques to continually enhance our offerings.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a solid understanding of design principles, typography, and layout.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with retailers and internal teams.
- Ability to interpret feedback and translate it into creative design solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency in design across different products and formats.
- Prior experience in the sports apparel industry or working with custom teamwear is a plus.
Contract Details:
- This is a full-time graphic designer position, requiring 40 hours per week.
- The successful candidate will work on-site at our location.
- The successful candidate will hired as an outside contractor and invoice Provision Sportswear for hours worked.
- Occasionally, there may be a few days off or shorter workdays throughout the year.
Please note: The emphasis of this position is on the full-time, in-person commitment required to deliver exceptional design work for Provision Sportswear. While there may be occasional flexibility, we are seeking candidates who can dedicate themselves to the role and contribute to the team's success through their consistent presence and creativity.
