Permanent Contract, 36.5 hours per week (1.0 FTE)
Due to personal development opportunities, we have a role that has become vacant within the WMG team.
In this exciting and varied role, you will have the opportunity to utilise your HR knowledge on a daily basis, providing advice and guidance on a wide range of HR issues.
You will provide support to all aspects of the employee lifecycle under the direction of the HR Business Partner for WMG, supporting around 800 staff.
You will have relevant experience in an HR role within a complex organisation where you have developed and implemented creative solutions to business challenges using your influencing skills. You will have demonstrated excellent working relationships within a Business Partnership environment.

Job Description
Job Purpose
To manage all aspects of HR, providing professional advice and guidance on HR-related matters to a variety of stakeholders within WMG, and liaising closely and effectively with the HR Business Partners and HR Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. To provide professional advice and guidance on HR matters in line with up-to-date employment legislation, University policies and procedures, taking advice from the HR Business Partners and other central services. Such issues may include recruitment and selection, induction, probation, sickness absence management, performance management, disciplinary, grievance, equality and diversity, wellbeing, etc.
2. To work with the HR Business Partners to assist key stakeholders and the Senior Management team in case management such as performance, capability, conduct.
3. Providing advice on the process for fixed term contracts and redeployment to ensure best practice and compliance with employment law and University policy.
4. To support the implementation of department and University projects and initiatives as they arise, such as GDPR and E&D.
5. To support the HR Business Partners with staffing reviews and reorganisation, assisting with providing organisational structures, job evaluation and role description documentation, ensuring appropriate consultations with staff and trade unions have been undertaken and effectively communicated and that all necessary approvals have been sought.
6. To produce quarterly HR KPI reports with a view to influencing and driving future policy, behaviour and practices within the department.
7. To support the HR Business Partners in the development and implementation of the People Plan for WMG.
8. To collaborate with HR/Organisational and Development in order to implement a HR skills programme for all staff within WMG.
9. Any other duties commensurate with the scope and grade of the role.
