Hunters 4 Staff are pleased to be recruiting a Senior HR Officer on behalf of a prestigious Hotel & Spa Group within the Burton Upon Trent area.
You will set and maintain company-wide standards through training, coaching, and development programs, manage recruitment to ensure adherence to company specifications, support managers in performance management and handle payroll issues, pension, and other company benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal staff training and develop training programs to improve performance and identify training needs.
- Promote training internally and externally, positioning the organization as a forward-thinking and dynamic function.
- Conduct regular training needs analysis and collaborate with managers to plan and prioritize training requirements.
- Design and produce training materials and ensure compliance with brand guidelines.
- Deliver effective training, provide coaching to trainers and managers, and manage induction programs.
- Support in-house recruitment, liaise with agencies, and develop recruitment ads.
- Ensure legal compliance training and manage health and safety protocols.
- Maintain training records and ensure accurate paperwork and record-keeping.
- Advise on disciplinaries, manage payroll, and complete appraisals.
- Manage company benefits and handle HR documentation and employee relations.
- Demonstrate understanding of health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
- Comply with the company's code of conduct and values.
Requirements:
- Experience in designing, developing, and delivering training programs.
- Ability to conduct training needs analysis and possess excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external partners.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and high attention to detail.
- Well-developed coaching and organizational skills.
- CIPD accredited training qualification (level 5) or equivalent knowledge of HR function.
- Experience in supporting managers with employee relations case work.

Salary: £35,000 per annum
