Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for part time hours to join a friendly and supportive HR team. For the succesful candidate there is scope to develop your skills and expertise and really get involved with the day to day operational duties of a busy HR team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Rural & Projects HR Team to deliver HR strategy and divisional goals
- Provide ER advice and guidance to junior management
- Provide admin support on more complex employment contracts, changes, grievance and disciplinary outcome documents
- Carry out grievance and disciplinary investigations and manage hearings for less complex situations
- Run reports and produce statistics as required by the division and other general wide ranging admin duties
Key Skills
- CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
- Up to date knowledge of current employment legislation
- Experience working in a professional services and geographically diverse organisation would be an advantage
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Highly proficient Excel user
Team Overview
Whilst part of the Savills HR team you will work on a day to day basis for the Rural & Projects Division, supporting two Business Partners and an HR Director. The Rural & Projects division has approximately 650 employees geographically spread from Truro in Cornwall to Inverness in Scotland. You will be based in the Peterborough office and will work day to day alongside one of the Business Partners and close to the HR Shared Services team. You will be part of the wider Savills HR Advisor team which meets regularly and can be used as a support network.
