POSITION SUMMARY:
The HR Generalist plans, coordinates, and conducts all administrative tasks and functions of the HR Dept and will consult with top executives on strategic planning; and serve as a link between an organization's management and its employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel
- Owns the entire recruitment process
- Processes payroll and bonuses for the organization
- Ensure paid time off for each employee is accurately calculated and clearly communicated
- Ensures supervisors are aware of upcoming performance reviews so that they are completed in a timely manner with the employee and maintains accurate records in PY
- Works in conjunction with the Director of Human Resources to strategize employee benefit program offerings that align with recruitment & retention efforts
- Reviews and inputs timecard adjustments while considering our attendance program
- Works in all HRIS systems daily to ensure accuracy and up to date information is entered
- Establishes and maintains department records and reports
- Maintains organizational charts and employee directory
- Assist in monitoring redemption plans and random drug screening
- Maintains paperwork on all leave of absence requests once review/approval received from the Director of HR.
- Monitor eligibility for company benefits and assist in the completion and submission of those documents
- Audit monthly billing statements to ensure employee/employer contributions to benefits programs are accurate and employees are paying for/getting services they have signed up for
- Stay abreast of SHRM communications and notify Director of HR when our practices and procedures don’t align with new recommendations
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws
- All other duties/tasks as assigned by your supervisor

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree preferred or minimum of 5 years of proven progressive Human Resources Management experience.
