Mallaghan Engineering is a Leading Global Supplier in the manufacture of Ground Support Equipment for the Aviation Industry, producing highly acclaimed GSE products to an ever-expanding global network of customers.

Due to continued success and growth, Mallaghan Group wishes to expand their HR team with the addition of a HR Generalist whose duties will support the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, induction, training & development and fostering healthy employee relations.
Overview and Purpose of Role
Working with the Head of People & Engagement, you will be a key player in delivering on the People plan to ensure Mallaghan Group maintains an engaged workforce, driving our unique high-performance culture by aligning our recruitment, training and development processes to the company values. This is an opportunity for the successful candidate to shape the learning & development function as the organisation continues to evolve, shaping future career paths.
Working on own initiative and as part of a team, your main duties will include,
· You will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment using the company values to underpin our selection of suitable candidates
· You will develop the induction and learning programme to onboard, nurture and develop the Mallaghan workforce.
· You will work with key stakeholders to design, develop and deliver bespoke training programmes, to support a continuous learning culture.
· You will be passionate about training and helping people develop professionally to fulfil their career potential through training, performance management, development planning and career planning.
· You will take the lead on placement, graduate and apprentice programmes, creating a pipeline for strong future talent through local colleagues and universities, ensuring the organisation are firmly an employer of choice.
· You will support line managers in areas of employee relations
The Ideal Candidate
· HR related degree or willingness to work towards it.
· Excellent computer literacy skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
· Ability to use social media for recruitment, employee engagement initiatives etc
· Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a variety of tasks.
· Ability to work as part of a team.
