We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor Apprentice to join the HR & Resourcing Team based at our Head Office in Lutterworth. Reporting to the Head of HR Business Partnering and will obtain a Level 3 qualification in HR Support.
As the HR Advisor Apprentice, you will initially provide administration support for the HR & Resourcing Team. You will manage the start of the on boarding process through to first payroll date ensuring data entry is accurate and that changes are entered onto the HR System in a timely manner. You will also assist the HR Business Partnering team with low level administration with regards to employee relations issues across the UK business.

- Oversee and onboard new starters with an appropriate handover to the business
- Advertise vacancies internally and externally using cost effective methods
- To maintain the data integrity of the Applicant Tracking System, ensuring all candidate data is handled appropriately
- Maintain Right to Work checks ensuring they meet the criteria
- Generate candidates Offer of Employment packs whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy
- To deal with telephone and email enquiries in a confident and timely manner
- Update the administration tracker on a daily basis for all relevant activity, starters, leavers and operational changes to ensure accurate tracking and service levels are maintained
- Using HR systems to keep records up to date and filed correctly
- Handling information and sensitive HR situations professionally and confidentially
- Working with the business on HR change
- To support people managers with basic queries on policies and procedures
- To support the HR team with reviewing current processes and implementing ideas for improvement
- To attend meetings as a note taker as required and to type up any meeting notes as required
- Assist in the day-to-day work of the team, ensuring all case work is saved onto the employees Personal file and relevant tracker
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- GCSE grades at C or above
- Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment – managing own workload, reprioritising when required
- The proven ability to organise, plan and prioritise a changing workload.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (including Word, Excel and Outlook)
