We are seeking a self-motivated Operations Support Assistant to provide administrative support our busy HR department, working with existing systems and proposing improvements.
Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and normally cares for around 14,000 dogs across its network of 21 rehoming centres in the UK and one in Dublin. Dogs Trust has a non-destruction policy and will never put a healthy dog to sleep.
HR is a growing team of over 30 friendly, hardworking colleagues delivering a first-class service to the organisation and its c.1,600 employees across all HR activities, including recruitment, payroll, learning and development and employee engagement.
In this busy role you will be responsible for all administration within the team, including preparing terms and conditions of employment for new and existing Dogs Trust employees, liaising with managers across the organisation to obtain timely and accurate information in relation to new starters, leavers, sickness absence and other related payroll administration.
To be successful in this role you will be an exceptional administrator with brilliant people skills and a methodical approach to your work. You'll work well under pressure and will be able to prioritise your work effectively to be as efficient as possible.

We operate a hybrid working model, with (on average) 3 days a week spent in the London office.
