We have an exciting opportunity for an ICT Security and Networks Engineer to help implementing Centrica Business Solution (CBS) Cyber Security strategy and associated Networks for all CBS energy products, assets, and services – across operational technologies.
You will work closely with corporate security teams and all CBS Business Units, transformation teams and product development teams to monitor and improve the network security posture of CBS to a high standard, ensuring the security of CBS data.
Day to day Accountabilities
Assist the ICT Security and Networks Manager - OT in the provision of ICT strategy and initiatives to ensure cyber security posture improvements across the global CBS business.
Collaborating with management, security teams, and other stakeholders to determine information security needs and requirements for applications and network infrastructure across ICT corporate, business, and operational technologies.
Supporting PMO process in project scoping, requirements gathering, risk assessments, and the design with respect to security and networks.
Carry out health and configuration checks of deployed infrastructure to ensure configurations conform to Centrica security standards.
Providing input into regular information security reporting and ensure ICT /OT risk assessments are carried out.
Engage with key stakeholders at the key stage gates of projects to ensure all the necessary steps have been followed to deliver a robust cost-effective solution.
Maintain CBS threat landscape and compliance with changing regulatory legislation such as the Network & Information Systems (NIS) Regulations.
Skills and Experience
Experience in designing, implementing, operating, and supporting successful network solutions for ICT and OT and security management processes.
Experience in the energy industry and operational knowledge of specific assets (consumers/generators/storage)
Experience with SCADA integration, PLC programming or development of IoT solutions
Knowledge of the electricity markets
An automation/controls/OT engineer with relevant working experience preferable within power industry or large industrial companies
Experience in auditing compliance with policies and procedures.
Experienced in communicating technical issues to simple presentations
Understanding of AWS cloud services.
Knowledge of applicable internal and/or external regulatory policies, standards, procedures, and controls
Location: You can work in Hull/Windsor or at home, we have people working all over the UK but also a range of office locations. You are required to travel monthly to any of these office locations.
