Anderson Knight are recruiting for a HR Advisor for our client based in West Lothian. Your role within the HR Team is to provide expert guidance and support to managers and staff while coordinating HR efforts across the organisation. You will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with employment laws, fostering a positive employee relations environment, and contributing to strategic projects and HR initiatives.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic advice and information to managers on various employee relations matters.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws during case management to mitigate company risks.
- Support managers in investigation and disciplinary meetings.
- Lead the review and implementation of the Company Handbook and Policies in line with current legislation.
- Evaluate and improve current HR processes and procedures.
- Review and update Job Descriptions to accurately reflect roles.
- Drive recruitment and retention strategies while emphasising equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Contribute to strategic projects, such as job evaluation and employee engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Learning & Development specialists to identify training needs.
- Undertake planned HR initiatives to foster continuous improvement.
- Analyse and report on Payroll and HRM information and statistics.
- Assist in the audit and reporting of HR procedures.
- Maintain confidential and sensitive employee records.
- Liaise with service providers and users to deliver excellent customer service.
Essential Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- CIPD qualified
- Experience in stakeholder management.
- Excellent knowledge of current employment legislation.
- Proven experience in driving and implementing change.
- Ability to balance a hands-on approach with strategic thinking.
- Highly skilled in using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and HRM systems.
- Demonstrable experience dealing with conflict, sensitive, and confidential matters.
