Are you an experienced HR or ER Advisor? Have you worked in an operational multi-site environment? Do you have the ability to make quick, sound decisions based on knowledge and judgment? Then this could be the role for you.
We are looking for an experienced People Advisor to join our fun and dynamic People team. This role is looking after all our people at our iQ site's nationwide and will be reporting into the People Operations Manager. As the People Advisor you will be working closely with our Regional and Operations Managers making sure our teams have the best support, advice and culturally appropriate solutions to do their jobs. Key Role Responsibilities:
- Provide end to end support, advice & guidance for managers in relation to employee relations cases
- Collaborate with Head of Operations, Regional Managers and Operations teams to identify and develop talent within their teams, facilitating development opportunities whilst encouraging people to take ownership of their careers
- Promote employee satisfaction by responding to team member questions, concerns and issues, researching and resolving problems
- Provide People advice supported by the subject matter experts across the full range of people management topics employee relations, recruitment, retention, performance management, development, and engagement.
- Responsible for ensuring people policies and practices are aligned to iQ values, compliant with employment law, including the training and briefing of team members and managers
- Supports the iQ annual performance management process in relation to roll out, communications, guidance to managers
- Reporting on, and analysing people metrics, using those metrics to identify trends, risks
Experience & Skills:
- Wide experience in a People generalist role covering all aspects of people management.
- Experience of managing complex employee relations cases with the ability to identify solutions that are aligned to business and employee needs,
- CIPD Level 5
- Excellent organisational skills and self motivated to manage small scale People projects
- Excellent knowledge and practical skills in applying UK employment law principles.
