Position: HR Customer Service Team Leader
Location: Milton Keynes
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract - 12 Months
Shift pattern: Monday-Friday. Day-time hours only - Hybrid
Closing Date: 3rd April 2023

We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our HR Shared Services team within DHL Supply Chain!

What do the key responsibilities in this role include?

  • Leadership of a team of HR advisors/administrators ensuring engagement within the company values and leadership attributes.
  • Responsible for the operational delivery of HR services, products and systems within a defined team within HRSS.
  • Work in liaison with business partners, managers and employees as well as external organizations as required.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement with the line management and HR community in dealing with HR requests.
  • Management of specialist activity and related processes e.g. contracts, contact, compliance, employee life cycle.
  • Complete legislative checks, ensuring compliance, quality and execute HR Internal controls as appropriate.
  • Manage the delivery of the end-to-end HR processes, data entry and complete accurate transactions in appropriate systems.
  • Maintain employee files and records for the defined stakeholder group.
  • Serve as liaison to CoEs / Business HR when inquiries require escalation
  • Gather data, perform / support various types of reporting (including standard, transactional, ad hoc, compliance, etc)
  • Implement process and content changes as applicable related to specialist activity.

  • Previous experience directly managing a team
  • Proven experience of building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
  • Proficient software skills (MS Word, MS Excel etc)
  • Graduate degree qualification (desirable)
  • HR certification (desirable)
  • Previous experience within a HR-related role – (desirable)
  • Exposure of relevant key aspects of HR processes - (desirable)
  • Knowledge of UK Employment legislation (Desirable)
