About the Role… We’re looking for an HR Coordinator to join our team at thebigword. This is a hybrid role with a requirement to regularly attend our Leeds office. The HR Coordinator works closely with an HR Business Partner as a tag-team! They know exactly what is going on across their areas and provide administrative and HR support to the HRBP as necessary. The role is crucial in shaping the future of our organisation by supporting with HR initiatives, fostering a positive workplace culture, and providing HR support to our people team, leaders and employees. Reporting to our People Team, you will provide HR Coordination support to our Interpreting, Translation and Shared Services Divisions. Additionally you will work closely with the Global Head of People & Talent and the People Team to create, implement, and monitor organisation wide initiatives both locally, and across our global offices. Within this generalist role you will support with our People Systems, Learning & Development, Recruitment, Performance management, and all other People related tasks, aligning your actions to the relevant divisions objectives, and the organisations as a whole. You will also work closely with our global partners and colleagues to support with all people related matters, in line with local laws. Your day-to-day as an HR Coordinator will also involve: Coordinating recruitment activity alongside our divisional leaders, then supporting with an effective onboarding process. This ensures that new starters have the very best start with us, and that vetting requirements are completed in a timely manner, benefits are are administered, and all questions are responded to. Assist in the preparation of documentation throughout the employees time with us. For example internal transfer letters, promotions, family leave documentation, etc. Support in the creation of new policy documents, enhancements to our HR Systems, and project work. Support the People team in preparation for internal and external audits of the staff security vetting process, ISO, immigration, etc. Become a ‘knowledge guru’ for our HR systems. You’ll gain a sound understanding of our Learning Management System to support leaders across our global locations, and with L&D projects. You’ll also update and maintain other HR systems and platforms as required. Support the HRBPs by providing advice and assistance to line managers explaining HR processes and procedures in an effective and timely manner. You’ll also support in meetings as required, such as acting as a note taker. Work closely with the HRBP/s on creation of board reports and MI as required. Manage the shared HR inboxes to ensure that all queries are responded to in a timely manner. Support the Payroll Manager in creating, maintaining and updating all payroll processes, and undertake ad hoc projects as required for personal, team and business objectives. About You….
