Job Description
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders and managers, providing expert HR advice and guidance.
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's objectives, driving employee engagement and performance.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent in the industry.
- Partner with the management team to identify learning and development needs, and design training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Oversee performance management processes and work with managers to address performance issues and foster a high-performance culture.
- Handle employee relations matters, conducting investigations, and ensuring a fair and respectful work environment.
- Support organisational change initiatives and contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure HR compliance, including employment law, health and safety regulations, and data protection.
- Monitor and analyse HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives to create an inclusive workplace.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience as a HR Manager or HR Business Partner or in a similar HR role within the manufacturing or logistics industry.
- Solid knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and learning and development.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive HR decisions.
