Job description

A dynamic opportunity has arisen for a HR Business Partner to join our busy HR Business Partner team at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital primarily supporting two of our clinical Divisions. You will be responsible for supporting the development of new and existing services through the delivery of workforce strategies and plans to proactively support the delivery of a timely, professional and comprehensive HR service. Working alongside the Organisational Development team you will support the delivery of OD interventions and use your workforce planning skills to support the delivery of sustainable workforce models. As a forward-thinking HR practitioner, you will manage your own ER caseload and support and mentor other team members to deliver best practice advice.

The successful post holder will be able to demonstrate a competent and coaching leadership style, consistent with the Trusts’ Values. There will be a focus on ensuring effective management of assigned projects as well as managing a caseload, working in partnership with staff side representatives, Workforce colleagues and managers to establish effective people management initiatives that will support the Trust in the application of HR policies and practices.

To support the Director of HR & OD and operation as an integral member of the Hospital/MCS management team, the HR Business Partner is responsible for the provision of high quality strategic and operational workforce support to ensure best practice people management within their areas of responsibility and across the wider workforce function.

The HR Business Partner is responsible for ensuring the contribution of HR expertise to business decisions making and developing people solutions to support business plans and strategy.
