Job description
The HRBP role is a generalist role supporting the Head of HR and the Business at an operational level. Its purpose is to implement HR and People Management initiatives as agreed with the Head of HR. As such the role requires understanding the HR Strategy set by the Head of HR and also the wider Business Strategy in order to contribute fully to the company's success and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to improve efficiency.
As the role is generalist, its main focus will change year on year based on personal and company objectives however, it will include the following responsibilities:
- Employee relations:
o Supporting Home Managers in dealing with all Employee Relations issues
o Tracking and reporting on resolution of ER cases
o Supporting and challenging managers in the application of HR policies and practices,
o Providing advice and guidance on complex HR issues, ensuring best practice is highlighted to minimise risk and financial exposure.
o contributing to the early and proactive resolution of potential people management issues
o Designing and delivering training to Managers on specific HR topics
o Hearing and analysing all exit interviews for the business
o Setting up and leading employee forums in all Homes
- Policies and Procedures
o Understanding and communicating HR policies and procedures
o Suggesting, amending and implementing changes to policies and procedures
o Auditing compliance to HR procedures in all Teams and Homes
- Recruitment:
o Helping Managers to create job specs/job ads/personal specs
o Supporting the recruitment activity
- Tracking HR Metrics
