We are looking for a high-energy, high-potential individual to be a key member of our team. The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) position provides hands-on and strategic input, insight, and advice on people-related issues: talent management, employee relations, coaching/development, compensation, conflict management, organizational development, and training. The HR Business Partner will play an essential role in establishing and driving HR programs/talent initiatives forward within the United Kingdom, while always ensuring they align with Elite’s business objectives. The UK HRBP will manage various HR programs and services and function as a point of contact for HR-related requests across the region. The role requires the ability and willingness to complete daily responsibilities in a proactive and collaborative way, supporting our employees.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Partner with leaders to develop and drive talent outcomes and implement business and people strategies.
Provide generalist HR support across the full employee life cycle and support wider HR projects. Key areas of work will include talent management, performance management, employee relations, reward and recognition, succession planning and HR initiatives and solutions.
Develop and administer various programs to meet employee needs and drive high levels of employee engagement that in turn creates an environment that encourages open, inclusive, and productive collaboration.
Communicate and serve as a resource for employees at all levels on HR programs, practices, and processes.
Partner with the Director of Total Rewards to manage the communication of and administration of employee health, wellness, retirement, and other discretionary benefit programs within the region.
In conjunction with the Talent Management team, drive overall recruitment efforts to ensure that Elite attracts, hires, retains, and develops talent in support of individual and business objectives.
Oversee the onboarding activities and work with Hiring Managers to ensure new joiners within <region> are equipped for success in the role.
Facilitate conflict resolution and management of any employee matters/processes in accordance with applicable law across <region>
Advise management and employees on interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
Stay current with changes in employment law and emerging trends across the region; work with the Legal team to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Support team by ensuring operational excellence and effective HR service delivery and serve as a back-up for all HR Operations areas.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a business-related field, or equivalent work experience
Minimum of five years of experience in human resources with a generalist background
Self-starter with the ability to do what needs to be done without being micromanaged.
Demonstrated knowledge of HR practices and principles and applicable labor, pay, and benefits laws and regulations across <region>
Strong business acumen, in-depth knowledge of the business and client group, and the ability to effectively implement HR strategies to support business goals.
Ability to engender trust and confidence and become a sought-out resource.
Comfort with the uncertain; able to move forward and make decisions even when you don’t have all the information.
Experience working with all levels in a commercially focused organization.
