About The Role
Corpus Christi Catholic Academy Trust wishes to appoint a HR Assistant to the central team of the Trust to work in collaboration with colleagues at all schools within the Trust. You will work closely with the Strategic HR Officer, HR & Governance Manager and HR & Recruitment Manager and have the opportunity to put and see HR theory in practice.
This is an exciting opportunity to learn new skills and grow your career by supporting all of the schools in our Trust with a diverse range of HR matters.
The Trust is seeking to appoint an individual who has the motivation, enthusiasm and the right skill set to work in partnership with the Headteachers and other stakeholders to help lead the future vision and development of our rapidly expanding Trust.
You must be an excellent communicator and be able to build good relationships with all colleagues.
The Trust offices are based at St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School, Dunkery Road, Woodhouse Park, Manchester, M22 0NT and you may be asked to accompany members of the HR team at meetings held at other schools within the Trust. You will also have the opportunity to work from home on occasion.
The main duties of the role are:
- To assist the Strategic HR Officer and HR Managers with lower level HR matters and casework, including absence management, misconduct and TUPE arrangements.
- To support with the Trust’s governance requirements.
- To support with queries around Freedom of information requests, Data Protection and the General Data Protection Act.
- To assist and support the recruitment process of new employees across all schools.
- To support the HR Team with its admin and organisational needs
