Location - Rodbaston College
South Staffordshire College is looking to employ a full time HR Assistant to manage our DBS process which includes checking the Barred List which produces our Single Central Register which is a fundamental requirement by Ofsted. The role will also lead on our GDPR compliance in terms of how we work. The successful candidate will have an excellent attention to detail and be able to work within laid-down processes.
The role also manages absence recording and the organisation of our occupational health provision for appointments and reporting for all college campuses. The role will also assist with the organising of the College’s wellness agenda.
The applicant must be able to work independently and prioritise their own work in completion of tasks. Whilst the applicant may not have any experience of managing DBS and right to work documentation, experience of working within processes and databases to capture and report information is important.
Excellent IT skills is essential, together with Level 2 or equivalent numeracy and literacy qualifications.
