Job description
Fit, Fed & Read Holiday Camp Delivery Staff
Who are we?
The Apex 360 group is now one of the most trusted names in Sports and Dance coaching as well as
Physical activity.
We work with an ever-growing number of schools to deliver activity clubs and PE support training.
Apex also works in partnership with many local communities to create fun and exciting family events and not forgetting, of course, our hugely popular Holiday Camps!
We have partnered with Herts Sport Partnership (HSP) to offer free activity camps to school aged children, in an aim to tackle the inequalities of holiday hunger, social isolation, physical inactivity and educational attainment experienced by children from low-income families during the school holidays.
The Fit, Fed & Read (FFR) Camps offer children aged 8-11 years old the opportunity to take part in a variety of sports, arts and enrichment activities. These include visits from HSP partners on the programme, Hertfordshire Libraries, Herts Fire & Rescue Service and Herts Constabulary. The fourth partner, Herts Catering Limited provides the children with a hot meal each day.
What are we looking for?
We are actively recruiting Sports coaches, teachers, arts & crafts, people who have experience & enjoy working with children & young people. Each day of camps offers children sport and physical activity, enrichment (soft starts, themed arts and crafts, outdoor activities and games), and lunch.
