ABOUT THE ROLE
As one of our HR Assistants, you’ll support and facilitate Human Resources-related projects and support the development and implementation of new HR initiatives. Additionally, you will work alongside recruiters to ensure a smooth recruitment process for all candidates.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Contribute to and encourage a positive and innovative work environment.
- Participate in positively and constructively achieving individual, department and company objectives.
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the HR department.
- Ensure that HR inquiries are tended to in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
- Assist in monitoring and reporting on all HR-related activities.
- Advise and liaise with staff and management on policies, procedures and industrial matters.
- Participate in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement within the company.
- Actively work in recruitment to hire high-quality, qualified candidates with a high return on investment.
- Apply the principles of equity, diversity and workplace health and safety, and behave in accordance with relevant standards, values, policies and regulations.
REQUIRED CRITERIA
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or a similar position.
- Proficiency with the following software:Google Suite, or similar.
Freshteam, or a similar HRIS.Asana, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of international labour laws.
- Excellent time management and prioritising skills.
- Working autonomously whilst being a team player.
DESIRABLE TRAITS
- Degree in Human Resources or similar.
- Experience within a leadership position.
- Good understanding of soft skills such as empathetic communication, creativity, and critical thinking.
