HR Assistant – Employment
Location: Cardiff (flexible)
An exciting and new opportunity has arisen for an ambitious professional to join our
Employment Law department. The HR Assistant will work closely with Fee Earners in the Employment Law department to support in the day to day running of matters effectively and efficiently: improving client service and following compliance regulations. Work will be varied including advising on Employment and HR processes such as disciplinary proceedings, capability processes and contractual issues and supporting Fee Earners with Employment Tribunal proceedings.
Key duties:
- Supporting Fee Earners with their day to day work. This will include assisting with drafting letters, scripts, liaising with clients and legal research.
- Supporting Fee Earners with the organisation and prioritisation of their matters, improving client service and case progression
- Supporting Fee Earners with document bundles. This will include hearing bundles, trial bundles and witness statement.
- Supporting Fee Earners with file opening, administrative matters and billing.
- Supporting Fee Earners with new enquiries.
Person Specification
- Strong IT skills, particularly MS Office Package
- Highly motivated, proactive and resourceful in approach
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced business
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
