Job description
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION
Responsible for administering a variety of personnel related administrative duties. Primarily focused on administrative support for employee engagement activities and ensuring positive communications and initial prompt response to all HR email and Dear HR request. Provides overall administrative support to the HR department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Serves as support for employee engagement activities, to include but not limited to; scheduling rooms, ordering supplies and food, sending invites, and assisting with setup and clean-up.
- Primary responder to HR common email inbox and Dear HR Dept Email Box, HR FAQ’s.
- Provides administrative support for HR leadership team to include scheduling, arranging, and communicating of details for various meetings.
- Provides support for personnel files and organization of filing room and printer/supply area
- Assists with updating engagement activities on the CUEngaged site
- Assists with gathering information required for administrative and survey reporting.
- Acts as a primary back up for front desk receptionist.
- Responsible for reset of passwords for HRIS systems.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS
Supervise Approximately: None
Reports To: Assistant Manager of Professional Development and Engagement and provides support to VP of HR
Contacts: Frequent contact with all Credit Union staff and outside vendors.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
A high school diploma or GED is required and a minimum of two years of clerical/administrative duties is required to adequately perform the job duties, Human Resource experience is preferred. Microsoft Office Excel experience is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical effort is minimal; however along with communication skills: speaking and hearing abilities, and wrist/hand/fingers manipulation and movement is inherent in the job. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision for frequent viewing of computer monitor and review of documents.

Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must have a strong ability to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must have a strong ability to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines/requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
EQUIPMENT SKILLS
Personal computer with windows environment, laser printer, calculator, copy machine/fax machine and scanner.
