Plantlife is a leading environmental charity with staff based throughout the UK. We are seeking a HR Support Apprentice to join our growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join us as an HR Support Apprentice. We will support you to complete the Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice which will enable you to develop the skills needed to further your career in HR. We are a small HR team and therefore you will have exposure to all aspects of the employee lifecycle in a fast growing, forward thinking environmental charity. There is the possibility that upon successful completion of the apprenticeship a permanent role may be available.

What will you be doing?

The HR Support Apprentice will work as part of a small HR team who form part of a larger Finance and Operations group providing professional support to the wider Plantlife organisation. This a is a varied and busy role and while primarily working on recruitment and onboarding, there will be scope to provide assistance and develop skills and knowledge in other areas of HR. You will also have the opportunity to undertake a work- related project as part of your apprenticeship.

Who are we looking for:

We are looking for someone who is keen to develop a career in HR, is customer focused, with excellent attention to detail and communication skills. You must be keen to learn and apply that learning to your day- to- day responsibilities. You must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
