About Noumed:
Noumed Life Sciences is a fast-growing pharmaceutical company based in Maidenhead, Berkshire focusing on generic pharmaceuticals.
About the role:
Please note this is a site based role, Mon-Fri.
This role will support the HR processes across the whole employee life-cycle, including but not limited to, on-boarding, training and exits.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and On-boarding:
- Advertise vacancies, shortlist candidates and attend interviews to make recommendations to hiring managers.
- Generate contracts and obtain pre-employment checks.
- Coordinate induction schedules and conduct HR induction with new employees on their first day.
- Enter new starter details onto various software such as payroll and staff access control.
Employee Relations
- Be the first point of contact for routine HR queries including recruitment, payroll, benefits and company policies
- Attend formal meetings with the HR Manager or line management and take minutes.
Leavers
- Assist with the employee termination process of letters, exit interviews, holiday calculations and payroll processing.
General Administration:
- Provide HR Manager with ad hoc administrative support.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate Personnel files.
- Produce monthly reports (headcount, turnover and absences)
- Provide occasional Reception desk cover, and deal with inbound telephone calls.
About you:
Training will be provided, however the ideal candidate will have the following qualities:
- Experience of working in a busy recruiting environment which includes screening and conducting interviews.
- An appreciation of employment law and company policies.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with privacy and data protection requirements.
- Good MS skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Have excellent communication / interpersonal skills and be able to create great working relationships with key stakeholders (Finance, IT, Line Managers)
