We are looking for an engaging and professional People Assistant to join the team. This is a newly created role and will be integral within the People Team function. You will be the first point of contact for many individuals seeking advice, or who have joined Kocho. You will support all areas of HR including talent management, employee relations, compliance, and recruitment. In return you will have ample opportunity to exposed to all areas of HR and learn from a fantastic team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the onboarding of all new joiners, to include, contract drafting, offer letters, reference requests, DBS and right to work checks, through to 30day catch ups and probationary periods
- Arranging and presenting on company events, such as the All Hands, Inductions, Away days
- Responsible for managing any communication to the business from the People Team
- Administration of our HRIS - keeping joiners, leavers, movers, annual leave and employee information up to date
- Working with the Internal IT team to raise any tickets for starters, leavers and movers (changes)
- Managing and promotion of the Flexible Benefit platform
- Ordering and maintaining the internal benefits e.g. birthday presents, gifts for special events
- Support the Compliance team in ensuring all mandatory training is completed
- Be a secondary contact for Office Manager and Executive Assistant
Requirements:
- A solid understanding of good HR practices, and basic understanding of Employment Law
- Willingness and capability to present to groups
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to challenge the status quo
- An inquisitive mind and appetite to grow. A self-starter

Salary: £19,146.58-£23,000.00 per year
