HR Assistant | Southall, West London | Part-time, 20 hours per week | Monday-Friday | Competitive based on experience
Our client is an export and wholesale company that has been trading for over 20 years. The company is passionate about FMCG.
Their customer base spans over 65 countries, and they distribute and represent many top British and European food and beverage companies.
To thrive in this role, you will be an experienced HR Assistant who is eager to join a fast-growing FMCG business.
Are you the right person for the job?
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong communications skills
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
What will your role look like?
- Providing clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources department.
- Overseeing the process of recruitment, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews, and issuing employment documentation.
- Conducting initial orientation to new hires
- Sitting in HR meetings and coordinating management-employee communications
- Keeping up to date with the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
- Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department
