We have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Assistant to join our Graduate Area Manager and Placement Recruitment team in HR at Bolton on a 12 - 14 month fixed term contract . The successful applicant will join a dynamic department, which researches, designs and implements cost effective and efficient tools and processes to support each stage of the employee lifecycle.
The Graduate Area Manager and Placement Recruitment team is involved in the screening of online applications and video applications across multiple business areas, leading assessment centres for external candidates, answering recruitment related queries and business reporting, and working with the wider business to uphold best practice.

Your New Role
Reporting directly into the HR Team Leader you will be responsible for the end-to-end selection process (up to final interview) including;
Application and video interview screening of Graduate Area Manager and Placement applications- Running Group Assessments and Interviews for Graduate Area Manager and Placement applications
- Acting as the first point of contact for Applicant Tracking System and Recruitment related queries
- Hiring Manager support and data analysis
- Headhunting for prospective candidates
- Analysing recruitment requirements and interpreting data to assess both current and future vacancies identifying where additional marketing and PR support may be needed and liaise with the relevant parties to authorise this additional media support
- Analysing the effectiveness of Recruitment Marketing campaigns and making recommendations for changes
- To assist with the developing and testing of all ATS releases
- To write and produce any reports or research documents as and when is requested in both a timely and professional format
- Assisting the Recruitment Manager and wider team with successful execution of the University Engagement Strategy
About You
Experience in Recruitment, with a wider commercial awareness for Recruitment/HR- Experience managing the end-to-end recruitment process including candidate screening and facilitating assessments
- The ability to plan ahead to meet deadlines with a high level of personal organisation
- Strong communication skills with ability to take complex information and deliver in a simplified manner
- Able to work individually and as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Able to confidently analyse data to provide recommendations
- Ability to work and remain calm under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail
- Highly organised and ability to balance multiple priorities

Salary starting from £32,105 rising to £39,865- Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working
