You will be required to assist in the provision of a range of support services for professional, operational and office activities to achieve targets and quality customer care. You will report directly into the HR Manager, supported by the fantastic HR and wider team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the new HR team on their transformation journey. You will rotate throughout the HR team ensuring you have full exposure to the roles and opportunities within HR, Recruitment and L&D/ Training.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties

With support from the HR Advisor and HRBP:
Supporting with general HR administration tasks for the HR team and responding to general queries.

Assist with the recruitment of new staff including drafting adverts, offer letters and contracts and pre-employment checks.

Maintain a centralised HR data system (CASCADE), ensuring all data is current and accessible and is compliant with GDPR.

Work closely with Finance colleagues to ensure all payroll and pension administration is completed within deadlines.

Assist the HR team with ad hoc projects and duties as required.

Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the procedures and processes of Magellan Aerospace UK.

To actively support and contribute to continuous improvement program and lean manufacturing

Support and maintain good housekeeping and adherence to H&S regulations when walking around site

To attend college as required and agreed to ensure successful completion of apprenticeship

Position Requirements

Academic:
Minimum of 5 GCSE.’s at grade C/ 5 or above which must include English and Maths

Desirable Criteria:
GCSE or equivalent in Business studies is advantageous by not essential

Can use a computer and competent in Microsoft Word & Excel

Problem solver

No minimum experience required on-the-job

You will Gain:
Business Administration NVQ Level 3

CIPD Level 3 with a view to progress to Level 5 pending review
