Canon UK has a fantastic opportunity for an efficient and organised HR Analyst, with excellent communication and people skills. They will be at the heart of Canon UK's HR team, having primary responsibility for working closely with HR management and line leadership to collect, identify and analyse data using various techniques to meet the organisation's business needs and requirements.
This role requires, resilience, and an eye for detail. Candidates will need to be computer literate and highly proficient at collecting and manipulating large volumes of raw data. The ideal candidate will be an established professional able to work both autonomously and within a team. They will have a record of delivering data projects through collaborative work with colleagues and key stakeholders. They will be motivated, and enthusiastic with a commitment to personal development, coupled with a dedication to help Canon continually grow and improve.

What we ask
The role will include responsibility for:
- Identifying and collecting data using specific tools or techniques; providing data intelligence to the HR teams on Canon’s HR data including but not limited to; headcount, employee demographics, labour cost, recruitment, training, and employee development data intelligence.
- Maintaining a local HR Dashboard, ensuring the Dashboard provides all managers with real time access to relevant HR statistics. Provide intelligence out of the data, helping to spot significant trends in the KPIs and propose areas of action.
- Working directly with stakeholders, projects, and business leaders to identify the analytical needs and requirements of the business.
- Creating Ad-Hoc reports and analytics as required by HR leadership.
- Providing analytical support to the HR team for all HR Operation cycles, including but not limited to, labour budgets, EOY performance review, annual merit review, annual bonus calculations, salary survey and employee engagement survey, gender pay gap reporting.
- Providing direct support to business and HR leadership team during the employee engagement survey period.
- Providing analysis of employee survey results and present back key findings to HR and business.
You will need
You will possess the following skills and expertise.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
- Previous experience within data analytics and / or HR
- Experience of working in a fast-paced customer relationship environment
- Demonstrable experience of planning and prioritising tasks, and working at pace with a sense of purpose and ownership
- Experienced in delivering to tight deadlines, self-driven and motivated.
- Experience of working with a range of colleagues, or able to demonstrate understanding of the impact of the role.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with excellent inter-personal skills Communicating effectively at all levels and able to adapt style to suit the situation.
- Numerate and proficient working with large volumes of data.
- Excellent IT skills, including working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Remains calm and able to perform under pressure while displaying patience in dealing with demanding situations/individuals.
- Uses tact and diplomacy, maintaining confidentiality and trust.
- Confident to exercise judgement and make decisions without referral.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Good standard education attainment including GCSE English & Maths or equivalent.

Ideally a recognised qualification such as a
- Qualification in Human Resource Management or similar with membership of a relevant professional institution
- Certificate in MS Excel and /or data analytics
Further Information
Location - Canon UK & Ireland, Stockley Park, Uxbridge - this is a hybrid role with some days a week in the office and some working from home.
