HR Advisor
Salary – up to £35,:000, depending on experience
Hours – 8:30 -17:00 – Monday – Friday (At Gardiners we encourage Hybrid working)

We partner with over 80 worldwide brands from Hush Puppies, Cotswold and Croc to Muck Boot, Dickies, Timberland. Along with retailers such as Next, John Lewis, Screwfix, B&Q, Very and Screwfix.
Over the last 3 years Gardiners employee base has grown, from 160 to over 300 to support this so has our People Team. Due to this, we have the opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join us, working with the Head of HR and rest of the People Team. The HR Advisor will take ownership of the daily HR queries and employee relations alongside other exciting People Team projects to enhance the employee experience.
What will the HR Advisor role entail?
The HR Advisor will take responsibility of being the first point of call for line managers and employees, offering advice, support and guidance.
We are currently going through some positive and exciting change in the People Team, such preparing for implementation of our first HR Management System and reviewing our company handbook. This alongside your day-to-day job we are confident that no day will be the same.
What are we looking for in a HR Advisor?
We are looking for an experienced HR professional with experience working on multiple caseloads and HR projects alongside the Advisor role. This could be an Advisor or an experienced Assistant looking for their next step. This is a great opportunity for the right person to join a growing company and play a part in enhancing the employee journey.
Employees are the heart of the business, so we are looking for someone who is passionate about people and doing what is best for all involved. You will need to have a professional, confident and “can do” attitude with strong relationship building skills.
A self-starter who can take ownership and accountability.- Strong communications skills, both verbally and written.
- Experience of implementing or assisting with the implementation of a HRMS would be desirable
We would love our HR Advisor to hold a CIPD Level 3 or 5, yet for us the experience is just as if not more beneficial for this role.
