HR Advisor
Leeds
Circa £32,000 - £37,000
12-month FTC
I’m working with an FMCG business with offices in Leeds who are seeking a HR Advisor to support the business’ continued and ambitious growth plans. Reporting to the UK People Manager, and sitting within the wider People team, this is a true generalist HR role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is inherently curious, enthusiastic enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. There will be the opportunity to take ownership on HR projects, as well as managing ER and supporting with recruitment and L&D.
Responsibilities
- First point of contact for general HR queries, directing employees to company policies and procedures and escalating any issues when necessary.
- Supporting, advising and coaching line managers on people policies and procedures.
- Manage a variety of ER cases across the division including absence management, disciplinaries and grievances.
- Assisting or leading on ad hoc people projects.
- Support the development and creation of HR training and Learning & Development.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing processes and guidelines.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding for all employees including organizing inductions and arranging exit interviews.
- Play an active role in TUPE negotiations as and when necessary.
Requirements
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent desirable.
- Previous experience working within a busy HR team in an advisory position.
- Strong ER experience.
- Proactive and ability to use own initiative.
- Experience delivering L&D related activities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others.

This role is a 12-month FTC, based in Leeds (hybrid) and offering circa £32,000 - £37,000 per annum.
