Summary:
The role will include the responsibility in managing the recruitment, onboarding and life cycle of an employee with the Company. You will work closely with the HR Manager in ensuring the delivery of a professional and supportive service to management and employees.
You will need to be trustworthy, organised, have the ability to multitask and stay calm in a changing environment.
You will need to have good employee relation skills, with the ability to deal with members of staff in both personal and on work related matters, with also being confident to handle formal matters either in person or via communication links/telephone.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide guidance to managers and employees on general HR queries, policies and procedures, escalating where necessary.
Provide support in the recruitment process by liaising with managers, agencies and or candidates.
Prepare and provide all new starter contract documentation, including references, identification and right to work checks.
Maintain and update the HR System with all employee information, ensuring all data is accurate.
Maintain holiday and sickness records on the HR System.
Monitor HR inbox, and handle responses, escalating when needed.
Ensure HR Best Practice is delivered, by complying with company HR policies, whilst also ensuring compliance with legal and statutory rights
Assist HR Manager in delivery of HR inductions/projects.
Ensure all employee payroll information, is processed in a timely manner and within payroll cut-off dates.
Ensuring confidentiality at all times, ensuring compliance to GDPR
Assist and promote compliance with all ISO certifications and H&S policies.
Other adhoc administration duties
Essential Criteria:
· Efficient administrative and organisational skills
· Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
· Ability to work on own initiative
· Experience of working in a HR Department
· Ability to demonstrate a proactive approach
· Ability to communicate verbally and in written form with people directly
· Ability and willingness to be flexible and work as a key member of a cohesive team

Salary: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
