Job description
· Advises the Head housekeeper when rooms are ready.
· Responsible for reporting any malfunctioning equipment to the Head Housekeeper.
· Manages all items handed in and any property or guests keys found in “check out” rooms.
· Carries out any other cleaning duties as specified by the Head Housekeeper.
· Keeps service and linen cupboards tidy and correctly stocked and closed when not in use.
· Completes additional and daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks as required by the Had Housekeeper.
· Reports any missing items from rooms eg. bathrobes, soap dishes etc to the Head Housekeeper.
· Is aware and makes use of all recycling facilities within the service areas.
· Has proper regard for both guest and hotel property.
· Report to the Head Housekeeper anything or anyone suspicious.
· Ensures the highest standard of cleanliness, hygiene and professional presentation of all areas.
· Ability to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers.
· Acts in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well-being of hotel guests and employees. Responds swiftly and effectively in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
· Perform other tasks as arranged by the Head Housekeeper.
· Is accountable for the operations assets and personal actions.
· Undertakes other duties and responsibilities which, while outside the normal routine, are within the overall scope of the position.
· Provides a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
· Makes all efforts and base all actions to ensure that we operate to beyond expectations standards.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 0-30 per week
Salary: From £9.50 per hour
