Job description
We are looking to hire a housekeeping assistant to join our existing team. Our hotel is currently operating as emergency accommodation for vulnerable adults who are awaiting permanent accommodation.
You will work as part of a close team by:
- assisting in giving the very best service,
- contributing to the smooth operation, teamwork and department targets
- working closely with management team,
As a housekeeping assistant your role is to provide operational support to the team in an energetic, timely and precise manner. You will support the team with a range of duties including the distribution of linens, general and deep cleaning duties, making and changing rooms, packing luggage, etc.
You will also assist with the general cleaning of guest areas ensuring they are clean, free of refuse, well maintained and staged appropriately.
Our housekeeping assistants are responsible for the upkeep and general presentation of guest corridors, linen cupboards and back of house service areas.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: From £10.50 per hour
