WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

Doughboys Group are currently looking for a hands-on Warehouse Assistant to pick & pack orders and support the day-to-day operation within our food distribution business at our warehouse in Reading, RG2
THE ROLE:
- Process customer orders, printing shipping labels, invoices and packing slips.
- Picking and packing customer orders into boxes efficiently and correctly.
- Managing all orders being dispatched and loading parcels onto our couriers' vehicle.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean and organised.
- Unloading and organising deliveries.
- Rotating stock to ensure old stock is used first.
- Placing order for stock & packaging supplies when required.
- Occasionally doing stock checks - counting the quantity of products we have available.
HOURS:
Casual Working Contract - Hours are 9am - 4pm, 3x days a week between Monday - Thursday (Days and Hours are flexible once agreed + optional overtime)
More hours available especially as summer approaches and potential to work Friday as well.
REQUIREMENTS:
(No experience or qualifications required.)
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Have an eye for detail & have a high level of accuracy.
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Have a good initiative and time management skills.
- Have a can-do attitude and keen to be hands-on.
SALARY:
We offer competitive salary per hour of £10.42
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 20 per week
