Job description
We are actively seeking Housekeepers to join our team. Successful candidates must be able to work on their own initiative aswell as a team player and be a capable cleaner and well organized. They will be responsible for cleanliness throughout the hotel and guest bedrooms. Training will be provided.
- Consistently delivering and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, room preparation and presentation throughout the Hotel, including deep cleaning exercises
- Taking huge pride in ensuring the cleanliness, presentation and hygiene of your allocated rooms, corridors, service and public areas are always achieved
- Restocking and replacing items in guest rooms, bathrooms and public areas, making sure our guests have everything they need, in advance of their arrival or return to their room
- Servicing our guest bedrooms and bathrooms by making beds professionally following our procedures clearly and attentively; cleaning all surfaces and floors; showers, baths, basins and toilets, all of this to the highest standard
- Vacuuming bathrooms, bedrooms floors, corridors, stairs, and lifts to remove all debris; using the correct cleaning materials for each task
- Performing any other duties as advised by the Housekeeping Supervisor & Duty Manager
- Deliver consistently high standards of cleanliness, look after guests needs and maintain a polite and courteous attitude
- Provide an excellent guest experience
- Reporting any maintenance related issues
- Own transport would be beneficial due to location
- must be flexible towards shift patterns, weekend working required
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week
Salary: £5.28-£10.42 per hour
