Your role as a Housekeeper
Based within the Halls of Residence on either University Park or Jubilee Campus you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the Housekeeping/cleaning function. Main duties will include monitoring and maintaining cleaning standards in bedrooms and public spaces, identifying areas for service improvement and all aspects of staff supervision. You will also order and maintain linen, chemical and equipment stock levels and monitor the care of equipment within the unit.
Candidates should be customer focused, have previous experience gained within a similar role at a similar level, be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of industry recognised cleaning techniques and have experience of stock management.

This position is offered on a permanent basis for 52 weeks of the year. Hours of work are part time (30 hours per week), worked 5 days out of 7 to be arranged including regular weekends. Flexibility will be required to work a variety of days and shifts during vacation periods.
