House of JÖRO is a 4 bedroom boutique hotel based in Sheffield. We work closely with Restaurant JÖRO and provide accommodation for guests travelling from afar to dine with us. We are looking for a motivated housekeeper with a keen eye for detail to help us maintain high standards. This is a part time role Wednesday-Saturday 10:30am-2:30pm (16hrs) with overtime opportunities available.

Job Duties

• Cleaning all areas of the hotel, including but not limited to; polishing furniture, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning windows, scouring bathrooms
• Preparing the rooms in full for guests arrival
• Preparing beds to a high standard
• Conducting deep cleaning and disinfection on a regular basis as required
• Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand wash, toilet paper, towels etc.) - propose orders to the Hotel Manager
• Establishing and maintaining standard operating procedures for cleaning and organising the site
• Ensuring any cleaning equipment is clean and disinfected.
• Carrying out minor maintenance tasks, such as unclogging sinks
• Maintaining cleaning products
• Maintaining company brand standards by taking responsibility for productivity, resolving problems and determining system improvements
• Completing other assigned duties as required
• Working across other venues such as Restaurant JÖRO where required
• Reporting missing or damaged items to the Hotel Manager
• Providing customer service in the event of early arrival e.g. collection guests luggage, advising on parking etc
