Office Cleaner - 17:00-20:00
Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - London Bridge
Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Office Cleaner to join our cleaning team at the Body Shop office in Tooley St, London Bridge. This is a permanent position working 15 hours per week, from 17:00 to 20:00, Monday to Friday.
The role:
- Will report to the Operations Manager
- To undertake general cleaning duties including cleaning of floors, toilets, furniture and fittings, emptying bins and removal of rubbish
- To keep client’s environments clean and tidy to a high standard
- To clean carpets ensuring that they are vacuumed and deep cleaned as appropriate, according to the manufacturers’ recommendation
- To undertake suction cleaning, sweeping and washing floors ensuring they are free from dust, debris, dirt, litter, smears and with no evidence of stains, spillages or residual cleaning materials
- To empty waste bins and receptacles, ensuring they are disinfected and free from smears and odours and ensuring the safe segregation and disposal of rubbish in accordance with procedures
- To check that all cleaning equipment is safe to use before starting work and report any defects immediately. Ensure all cleaning equipment including machinery used is cleaned and returned to designated storerooms in a safe and tidy manner after use
- Working 15 hours per week, from 17:00 to 20:00, Monday to Friday.
The person:
- Must have previous experience of working in a cleaning role
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment essential
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively with all types of people
- A flexible and proactive approach to work with a can do attitude
- Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
- Able to work under own initiative to meet requirements of the role
