MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
G2V Recruitment Group is looking for an ambitious individual to assume the role of Junior Data Analyst and adopt responsibility for delivering data analysis and reports within the business. This role will see the Junior Data Analyst assist with the design and creation of reports across all business functions and provide relevant analysis of datasets.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:
General Responsibilities
· Building reports across the business
· Delivery of all reports and analysis to agreed timescales and quality
· Contribute to enhancing existing reports to increase efficiency and effectiveness
· Help to build analytical capability within the sales business
· Produce analysis and make recommendations to management
· Provide meaningful insight to all departments
· Work with all business areas through data gathering and analysis
· Promote data best practice across all business units
Report Building
· Create new reports when requested by different business units
· Maintain and develop current set of reports
Data Analysis
· Review and develop existing business processes to identify potential improvements
· Document and develop new data processes
· Ensure delivery of data that is critical for the sales teams, such as sales KPIs
· Information gathering to better understand business units

· Enthusiastic, proactive attitude, with a flexible approach and the ability to multi-task
· Excellent communication skills
· Good attention to detail, process driven and methodical
· Flexibility and the ability to work on more than one task
· Excellent interpersonal skills, and experience of liaising with representatives from external 3rdparties
· Commercial acumen
Essential Skills:
· Degree-level qualification
· Some experience using SQL and an understanding of relational databases (can be personal projects, or work done at university)
· Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills
· Ability to organise data from a variety of data sources and analyse results
· Ability to analyse data to identify improvements to business processes
· Excellent organizational, analytical and technical skills
Desirable Skills:
· Experience with data in a sales or recruitment environment
· Familiarity with any programming languages
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
