Housekeeper
Oxford Point, Bournemouth
Part-time: 16 hours per week Thursday to Sunday 9am to 1pm

About the Housekeeper role:
As our Housekeeper, you will work under the direction of the Management Team, to provide a proactive and responsive cleaning service.
Responsibilities of our Housekeeper include:
- Responsible for cleaning all internal communal areas of the buildings including all hallways, stairwells, common room, laundrette and management suite.
- Clean designated student flats on a weekly basis including bedrooms, kitchens and internal hallways.
- Clean flats as and when required. This will include a deep clean of bedroom and kitchens.
- Ensure the security of the properties at all times. Reporting any security or maintenance issues immediately including any repairs.
- Dispose of all rubbish immediately upon collection disposing in the correct allocated bins provided.
- Regularly inspect and check all cupboards on site. To make sure they are clean, organised and well stocked. Making sure all cleaning materials are stored correctly and that all COSHH products are locked away in the suitable cupboard.
- Be responsible for clear and safe pedestrian access at all times including the immediate removal of rubbish and spillages upon notification.
- Carry out regular external cleaning including the removal of graffiti immediately upon discovery.
- Carry out any window cleaning as directed by the Management Team.
- Be fully knowledgeable on fire evacuation procedure and to assist where required to evacuate the building where appropriate.
- Adhere to Health and Safety Procedures at all times.
- Attend such training as required by the Management Team.
- Carry out any other duties associated with the post as required by the Management Team.
Skills and experience we’re looking for in our Housekeeper:
- A highly motivated individual who pays attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
- Results orientated, takes ownership of responsibilities and displays pride in work carried out.
- Able to work to instruction and to use own initiative to solve problems.
- Previous experience of cleaning in a hospitality environment.
