Job description
We are looking for an Accounts Assistant for a client in Immingham. This is a permanent position working Monday - Friday 7:30am-4pm.
You will be required to process accounting documents and maintain accurate and up to date ledgers. To maintain payroll and process with accuracy and to deadlines.
Responsibilities:
The key duties of the post are as follows: -
- Processing weekly agency and monthly payroll to BACS output with adherence to deadlines
- Processing Supplier invoices against purchase orders, resolving queries with output to BACS for payment;
- Processing Sub-contractor invoices with references to timesheet data to BACS output
- Liaising with operational workers to support in the buying process.
- Communicating with suppliers regarding queries and reconciliations
- Monthly Bank Reconciliations
- Sales invoicing and distribution to customers
- Processing of weekly expenses
Key Skills:
- Attributes and Technical Skills
- Payroll experience essential
- Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Packages

Professional Qualifications / Relevant Experience
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience within an accounting environment
- Or Qualified to AAT level 2
